Our Family Drum Story

Hello Jackie, here is our story from the drum festival:

Our 4 year old son was introduced to the concept of drumming for the first time during the drum circle led by Jeff Stewart.

Liam joined the circle at 10 pm and was so fascinated he stayed until 1:10 AM.  He had the time of his life.

He spotted the little drums made from leather and wanted to take one home.  Because the drumsticks were glued on to the drum we had to carefully remove them so he could drum around the house.  Liam slept with that drum all night and when he woke up he still had it with him.  As Liam woke up we could hear him from his bed the chanting of a native song he had heard the day before all the while he was beating his little drum.  What a blessed way to start our day.  Liam loves to perform drum solos for us whenever the spirit moves him.

We would like to thank you for this opportunity to share in this multi-cultural event. 

God bless all nations and bands as prejudice is one of the worst sins in our world today.
