Echoes Drum Festival of Sault Ste. Marie in partnership with the Huron-Superior Catholic District School Board invites you to come and participate in a four day drum festival and Aboriginal celebration days from June 18-20, 2009 to celebrate peace and harmony of all races. The festival is being held in historical Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, Canada which was named by the Ojibwe people as "Bawating" meaning "the meeting place by the water".

Echoes of the World festival is the vision of
two Cree women with a mission to promote inter-racial understanding
of the many diverse cultures of the world, and the relationship

our similarities and our differences through the sharing of traditional
music, songs and dance in the spirit of peace and harmony.
